Thank Gravel It’s Friday and Giordana team up for a gnarly gravel ride from Laguna Beer Co to chase the everlasting summer around Southern California. Hawaiian shirts, salty hair, sand between your toes, and waves crashing on the beach will take you on a throwback ride along the coast. You’ll be throwing shakas and mahalos like it was 1966. This unique expedition takes you up some of the gnarliest single track, heavy dirt climbs, and fast descents, before crawling back to Laguna Beer Co for cold beers and delicious food. Share the stoke as you search the trails of Crystal Cove and Laguna Beach in Orange County for that perfect brown pow which may be hiding just over the next climb. Please RSVP so we can make sure to have enough water and hydration for the aid station. Our friends from Rivian will be hosting the Skratch Labs aid station and be on course to provide support. Giordana will be shredding with us and we'll be raffling off some of their sweet swag post ride! Ritte Bicycles will be on-site showing off some of their newest bike tech. Ride at your own pace and make sure you have everything you need to finish the ride on your own. There will be an aid station provided by Skratch Labs to help fuel your journey. Weather can be hot and exposed or chilly, you never know what you're going to get. Please check the weather and come prepared. This ride will have technical trails so we recommend a 42mm tire or wider. The wider and knobbier the better! The terrain will be technical and difficult but we love a challenge and we are here to see riders challenge themselves to something they wouldn't normally do on their own.

With that being said, there will be an option to do two routes… a shorter route and a longer route. If you are feeling like like you are hanging five and you just can’t get ten toes over the nose that day, you can cut the route short at mile 22.6. See routes on the RSVP page but you can expect:

Long - 55 miles | 5500ft climbing

Short - 38 miles | 3900ft climbing

We're all about the good times and great lines so the only winner will be the best dressed. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or button down... whichever you prefer. All riders who complete the ride with a Hawaiian Shirt on will go into a raffle to win prizes from Giordana and Lead Out!.
