TGIF & Ripton are hosting a Canadian Tuxedo ride this Friday, April 7th. This one has been a long time in the making! There’s no better way to celebrate sunny weather than lathering yourself in as much denim as you can and riding up to the Gold Hill Store for a dance party and live music.
Whoever comes up with the most drip in their all-denim getup will be going home with a one off piece customized with Ripton & TGIF patches!
The climb is steep and the descent is rowdy and cold so make sure you pack a denim jacket and lights for the way home. Pace will be moderate.
Know the route! We will have a neutral roll to Poorman, however, this is NOT a ‘no drop’ ride. This ride will require technical bike handling skills, lots of climbing and may not be suitable for beginner riders. We will have a leader to guide the group and maintain a moderate pace, but will not have specific sweeps. The group may split up, but we can all meet at the Gold Hill Store at the top. Be prepared with the route loaded on your bike computer.
We encourage you to ride into the start as parking near Ripton is very limited.
