Grab your tshirt or flannel and join the party! Our First Friday T-shirt ride is May 6, 5:30pm at Rayback Collective.
This Friday, we’ll be taking the road to the res and then to one of favorite trails, Gunbarrel! After a short climb, expect a steep, fast, and technical flow double track, to Teller farms, then we’ll take the road and bike path back to Rayback for some post ride hangs.
Expect a mix of trafficked paved road, bike path, loose and technical single track, dirt roads, and cow grates. Pace will be moderate. We dress casual but like to ride hard.
Know the route! We will have a couple spots to regroup, however, this is not a ‘no drop’ ride, and will require technical bike handling skills. The group may split up, but we can all meet back at Rayback after.
The first regroup spot will be on Lookout and 75th, before we cross the road onto 75th. We’ll turn onto Gunbarrel trail, and the climb will break up the group before descending the single track. Cross over Valmont into the beautiful Teller Farms, and the next regroup spot will be on Willow Creek and Arapahoe, before making a right onto Arapahoe. These checkpoints will allow the majority of the group to to come together. Please know the route!
Please DO NOT park in the Rayback parking lot, we are asking that you either ride in or park on Glenwood Dr and ride the bike path to the start. Rayback Collective is easily accessible from the Goose Creek bike path. Stay after for some food, drinks, and hangs.
Make sure you get your food and drink orders in before 8:45pm.
