TGIF is coming back to Gering, Nebraska for USA Cycling’s Gravel Nationals this year! We were so grateful to witness the first ever Gravel National Champions being crowned last year and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the second edition. The growth of gravel in the USA is bigger than any other category in cycling and we are stoked to be a part of it.

We are teaming up with USA Cycling and Chamois Butt’r to bring you the official shakeout ride for Gravel Nationals. There will be a pancake breakfast to raise money for emergency responders prior to the ride from 8am to 10am. The shakeout ride will leave around 10:05am for a casual ride from the Gering Civic Plaza that will take a little over an hour. Chamois Butt’r is will be giving out samples and swag before and after the ride so stop by to pick some up. Keep those bits Butt’r’d for your big rides because no one loves chaffing.

The ride will be fully self supported so please bring a flat kit. If we have a large group we may split it in to an A and B group to make sure all riders have a comfortable pace to ride at. The route will be about 17 miles which should take about an hour. We have moved up the shakeout ride this year two hours to ensure everyone can be back and resting for race day by high noon.

We will have TGIF shirts and bottles available at the expo throughout the weekend through VenMo, PayPal, Zelle or cash. See you there!!!
